Launched by the Office of Women’s Health, NWGHAAD is a nationwide observance that encourages people to take action in the fight against HIV/AIDS and raise awareness of its impact on women and girls.

While great progress has been made in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention and treatment, women still represent 27% of all new AIDS diagnoses, with African-American women accounting for 66% of that group.

In observance of NWGHAAD, we are back with our 4th Annual Rock the Red Pump™ Campaign! The campaign’s goal is to generate conversation in blogosphere about the issue of HIV/AIDS and how it affects women.
